Hi there Goy & Martin, It seems already a long time ago when you spoiled us at your EDH-paradise. A bit late, but here a big thank you E-mail for the travelling advice, through Laos, you gave us. We did about everything you advised us & it was all great (we had to pay a big fine for staying to long in Laos. First we bicycled the road from Chang Rai to Toeng and than a little further to the left direction Huai Xai. Indeed a heavy trip to bicycle, we had to walk at two places, my gears could'nt handle the steep hills. After the boattrip on the Mae Kong, we bicycled al the way from Pak Beng, Muang Houn, Udum Xai, Lang Nam Ta and Muong Sing. We lost a bicyclestand in a rice field and a chain protector in the sewer but arrived well shaked in Muong Sing. We felt like hero's with all the "falang falang kids" along the road. The Laotian people where very nice and the country unspoiled. The chinees are working hard to improve the roads. We travelled back with the bus to Nam Bak and cycled on a perfect new Asfalt road to Luang Prabang. In june we'll be back in Holland and mail you some pictures. Greetings form Australia where we are tenting between the kangeroes. (especially for Goy, sorry we can't make dirty pictures with kangeroes they jump to fast) Bart & Jeanette
